There’s no place I’d rather be.
I’m sure glad:
“It’s a marathon not a sprint.”
because otherwise, I’d be screwed.
Apparently, according to these records, I’ve written or created 2,800 days in a row. Since November 1, 2012.
I’m going to buck the trend here and go out on a limb and just say it cuz it’s the truth anyway:
“There’s no place I’d rather be.”
Sure, more of this, less of that. But it couldn’t be more perfect.
Just for kicks, I’m flying today from Amsterdam to Frankfurt to Chicago to Phoenix to spend time with my mom who has cancer. Let’s see, what else. Three are riots and looting going on around the U.S. because the police killed an unarmed black man last week. Oh yeah, and the Corona virus has brought the entire planet to a standstill.
Yet here I am: Mr. “There’s No Place I’d Rather Be.”
It’s scandalous! Preposterous! How can it be!?
Yes, I’m *slightly* biased by my latest book “Create” but that’s what I’m doing and here we go, I’m just going to state it for the record: creating gives me purpose, meaning, and joy.
It’s just that simple.
So, 28 days or 2,800 days, it’s just a number.
Where are you? Are you where you want to be?
Come Create with me.
Happy 2,800 days!
Or happy 28 days!
Or happy Day One.
