Do something different, then develop for, discuss with, and distribute to dominate those who didn’t dare do.

“Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure… than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.”

Theodore Roosevelt

Remember back in Ask how I said it was too bad to start off with something difficult?

I wish I could say Dare was easier.

It might be even harder.

Asking is often out of our comfort zone. It takes practice, we can get better, we can also learn to ask better questions and we often get better answers.

We’re not even to the point of Deciding what to do with those answers or Creating based on what we know we need to do.

Nope. Sorry.

We’re at the point where we Dare do what we previously might have never done.

Let me call on someone from the audience to show an example. Anyone? You in the blue shirt? No? OK, fine, me.

  1. Ask: I asked myself what kind of person I wanted to be.

  2. Dare: I had the audacity to dare to dream big and be the author I had always thought I would be.
It’s a bit like an answer. In fact, in the next book, we’ll do just that, we’ll make a decision yes or no, the me of the future or the me of the past.

Now that we dared to get out of our comfort zone, it’s time to Decide.

  • Possible: don’t
  • Impossible: dodge
  • Repossible: dare
